About us
We are (one of the few) family owned and run proper public houses. Adam, has been in the trade since he was 18, he took his own first pub over in 2005, and went on to buy the Horse and Groom in 2008. We are a family, passionate that pubs are about people and of all ages, from all walks of life getting together and enjoying each others company. We strongly believe that in that environment people can enjoy and use drink sensibly.
We enthusiatically support the local and wider music scene and provide, rehersal and jamming space for our musicians. Currently our Saturday night slots are renowned as we have been able to secure some outstanding bands and muscians.
Our opening hours are
Mon - Thursday and Sunday 12-11pm
Friday and Saturdays 12-11.30pm
